Planning & Delivery

Once you have agreed a price and start date, you will get a written confirmation of quotation and a contract of works, which sets out what is included in the price and whether a deposit is necessary, in particular if any bespoke materials are to be manufactured before the project commences. You will also agree a payment schedule and a plan which states when work will start and how long will it take. You will have a seven day cooling off period after accepting the quotation in writing.

Dalestone can undertake day to day communications with other professional bodies involved in the project such as the Local Authority Building Control, structural engineers, architects etc. Should the need arise we can liaise with them to make suitable amendments to plans, schedules or building regulations. If there are any changes to your plans, you will be provided with an additional quotation.

If you already know trades people who you would like to use this can also be incorporated into the project plan and quotation. Dalsetone will ensure that the materials they need are on site and work advanced to the correct stage. This will ensure that you are paying them for their skill rather than to organise the materials they need and to prepare the job.

Throughout the project any questions or queries can be helpfully addressed. Frequent updates will be provided to keep you abreast of the latest stage and to discuss practical solutions to any building or planning problems which may occur. On completion of the project there will be a comprehensive snagging programme to ensure complete satisfaction, the site will be left clean and tidy and certificates and guarantees issued.
